Lake Conroe Rotary - A Message from the Club President

The Rotary Club of Lake Conroe is all about "Service Above Self" both locally and internationally through our Four Avenues of Service. These include Community Service, International Service, Vocational Service, and Club Service. We are not just a "meet and greet" club, but one that makes a difference in our community and throughout the world through the Rotary International organization that is 1.2 million members strong. While our emphasis is on serving others, we also have a lot of fun in the process. We are a great place to make new friends and business contacts in the Lake Conroe area. Our members range from business professionals and owners to men and women who have successfully completed their careers but are still finding ways to stay active and involved. Our Rotary theme this year is "Make Dreams Real". We are truly blessed to live in Montgomery County, and for some of us our dreams have already become a reality. However, for many others in our community and throughout the world who are struggling just to survive, we want to help make their dreams real as well.

In everything that we think, say, and do our Club follows the Rotary 4-Way Test that can be found on our Four Way Test page. True to our nature, you will notice that our Club has added a 5th test: "And is it FUN".

We would love to have you come visit our Club and see what we are all about. We meet at the Walden Yacht Club every Thursday morning at 6:45 a.m., and feature a cooked-to-order breakfast by one of our members, Executive Chef Rick Adams, and his staff. I think you will also find our weekly programs both entertaining and informative. It's a great way to start your day off! You can be out the door and on the way to your daily activities by 8:00 a.m., or you can stick around and visit with some of our great members if you so choose. Finally, I would call your attention to our Becoming a Member pages for more information about how you can become actively involved in what I believe is the greatest Rotary Club and organization in the world. We have 55 members, but there is always room for professional men and women, business owners, and retirees who want to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
