Welcome

The Books For The World Project delivers out of use school text books to developing countries, primarily in Africa. We collect and sort them. Then they are loaded on containers and shipped. Once at their destination, the containers are often used for libraries, classrooms or clinics. Because of the weight of the books, the containers can only be loaded to about 70 percent of capacity. Often often supplies - from medical supplies to wheelchairs to bicycles - top off the containers, to further increase the importance of the donations. We do this project in conjunction with our friends from District 5890, Houston Area.
