Smart 911 – Individuals can automatically provide critical information to 9-1-1 call-takers about you, your family, and your house such as medical conditions, access information, emergency contacts, and pets.

Smart Facility – Property owners/managers can automatically provide helpful information about a building or campus such as floor plans, hazardous materials, key holders, and Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) locations.

Emergency Alerts – MCECD is ending a long relationship with CodeRed and improving the emergency alerting system with a new vendor.

Text to 9-1-1 – Persons in need will soon be able to communicate with emergency operators via text messaging when a phone call is not possible or advisable.

Multi-line Telephone Systems – Callers using a multi-line telephone system will have easier access to 9-1-1 and emergency operators will have better location information on the caller.
