GOOD NEWS
Christina husband no longer wears glasses! He had a successful eye surgery yesterday so, don’t be alarmed if he only has one lens in his glasses.  The second eye procedure will be in a week.
Charlie announced the Salvation Army Grand Opening was a success with over 100 people in attendance including himself, Peggy, and Pam.
Jan announced she can drive now.
Mike announced yesterday his granddaughter flew to England for two weeks to give scorer lessons to people in England.
Marlo (Willis Interact Club Sponsor/Teacher) announced she is moving back to Canada to be close to her family.  She has really enjoyed being a part of the Willis Interact Club.
Pat announced that her bother for the first time in a year was able to close his eye after a procedure at MD Anderson.  He has been battling one of the worse cases of Bell’s palsy.
Roz announced that she in her 23 years as a Rotarian has never not seen a President receive a great applause when they announced that their term was almost over.  This is a very good sign Audrey that you did a great job!
Audrey gave an update on the condition of her State trooper friend that was injured in a car accident yesterday.  He has a broken neck, finger, and road rash, but otherwise he is doing fine.  The motorist he was helping has two broken legs.  The guy that hit him wasn’t drunk but it was a dark road and he didn’t see them;  it is currently under investigation.
GUEST SPEAKER
The Willis Interact club shared with us today the great things they have done this past year! Led by Club sponsors Cecilia King and Marlo Taylor.  They had a very exciting and successful year including meeting the Presidential Citation! Each of the students shared their favorite service project which was (candy roll wrapping, Salvation Army Bell ringing, Special Angels Rodeo, and Pinkie’s for Polio.  The Club goal for next year is to increase membership.

Meeting Notes taken by Ashley Harrison. Thank you for your commitment to this work. We appreciate you!
