GUEST SPEAKER
Audrey spoke with the club about her upcoming year as President and some of the new ideas and changes she would like to implement!
New Ideas and Meeting Changes
Share Rotary Moments and Discuss articles featured in the Rotarian magazine
Also she would like for our long term members to do a classification talk for the newer members. All in an effort to get us to know each other a little better!
She also wants us as a club to be more visible and get involved more in identifying the needs of the community. She is planning on adding a service project that will help families of school aged children and parting with Old Navy for us to take kids back to school shopping. Also she would like to have more evening socials at a member’s business or at a small/new business in the community. This will also help us to learn more about each other and our strengths.
The 2016-2017 Rotary Year
Rotary International President is John Germ and the theme this year is “Rotary Serving Humanity”. This is the 100th Anniversary of the Rotary Foundation and the year we could eradicate Polio.
