GUEST SPEAKER
Gary spoke with the club about his year as President.
Accomplishments
We pulled off the District Conference!  The club was able to break even on the $75,000 budget.  The feedback from other clubs and District Governors was this was one of the best District Conferences.
We completed the District Grant project for the Literacy Garden.  Thanks to all that helped.  Received $3,000 from the District matching our Clubs $3,000 and an additional $10,000 from fundraising.  The little libraries are being used by families and the library.
We met the Presidential Citation by increasing membership.
Managed the Clubs finance under budget!  Our operating accounts were $43K expenses of $42K for a net of $417.  The foundation $89.6K expense $68Kfor a net of $21K.  The club had planned to do a global project, but was tabled therefore we had a surplus built up for next year.
The Willis Interact club was re-established.  Thank you to Chuck and Peggy for being the sponsor.  The Interact Club is excited and will win the Presidential Citation next year they were really close this year.

Awards from District Conference
The Club received the Gold in Presidential Citation,
Foundation #1 in giving for the medium sized clubs, and #2 in the district per capita giving at $370.
Achieved 100% EREY.
#1 new major donor recognized at the Conference Roz and Rick Dauzat
#2 in the medium sized club bulletin

Cash on hand $44K in Memory Park, of which $33K is committed to projects,

Thanks to the board and members this is not a one person job.  So thank you to all for what you have done and for making this a wonderful year. Thanks to Doris for all your help.  You were the reason I wanted to be this year.  I’m Proud to have been your President!
