My Fellow Rotarians,
Happy Fall Y’all!  It is hard to believe that we are in the second quarter of the year.  We are in full swing of Fall and the upcoming Holidays.   In the short time, we have accomplished a lot of our projects with more to come!  If you missed a few meetings or projects that’s o.k. we have more Club opportunities coming in December!  So stay tuned for more announcements!  

October Review
In October, we started off with our District Grant Project Clothing for Kids we clothed almost all our kids (we have about 5 more kids to purchase clothing for).  Thank you to everyone that participated by either contributing dollars to the goody bags or time to help with the Kids shop for clothing.  Special thank you to my Service Chair Daniela Mead for all your help on the project!

 

We even had our first Trash to Treasure Sale and made $1200!!! This is great for our first go around (keep in mind this is all Profits to the Foundation)!  Again, thank you to all for your donations and time sorting and getting items ready.  I would like to send a very special thank you to Sandy, Shanon, Monica, Deanna, Pat, Craig, and Pixie.  You all did a great job with our sale!!!
We also had a fellowship with the Conroe Club at their Texas Wine and Spirits fundraiser.  Speaking of fellowship, we even had a mini Halloween Social.  Due to rain we had to cancel mini golf, but don’t worry we will reschedule for another time.  

 

Upcoming meetings- As you know this is Paul Harris Month!  So in the spirit of Paul Harris month lets round out our EREY and have 100% by month end!  We will start the month with a Polio Update with Mike Berger, Classification Talks, and Paul Harris Fellows with Pam Tipton.
